Our story began in 1986 when my incredible mother, Debi, turned her passion for interior design and the challenge of finding UK-sized bedding in the Canary Islands into a thriving business. She opened our first cozy shop in Arrecife, where we proudly offered quality and affordable home textiles.
Thanks to her dedication and eye for detail, Scruples Decor quickly became a household favorite. Within five years, we opened a second branch in Tias, and then a third in the lively Deiland shopping center.
But like any great adventure, we faced challenges. The recession hit us hard, and we had to close our beloved shops. Yet, we embraced the digital age in 2006, launching a user-friendly website and warehouse to keep serving our amazing customers.
In 2021, I, Maxi, took the reins of Scruples Decor. Inspired by my mother’s legacy, I revamped our website, transformed our warehouse into a charming shop, and expanded our product range.
From the moment I took over my mother’s business, I dove right in and loved every moment. Whether I was selecting products, speaking with customers, or assisting with their unique requests, it quickly became my passion. Running Scruples Decor has been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for every experience and interaction. It's more than just a job; it's what I love to do.
